Vaio Z i5 + SSD Battery life?

I have had an interesting week with my DV6, I like it more than I thought I would, but I have not fallen completely in love.
My hangups still are the massive size of the 15.6" screen, and the horrible keyboard.
I love the Sony Vaio Z for the screen size and higher resolution is a huge bonus as I do a bit of graphic design (and hope to do more).

That being said, my DV6 has excelled with easily getting 5-6 hours on battery life.
What would it be like on the Vaio Z i5 with SSD? I doubt I can reconcile the extra $600 I would have to spend on the Sony, not to mention I would probably want to up the memory from the stock 4gb.
Though the lower processor does not worry me much.
