what's the problem??

Hi,
I have a very weird problem with my notebook, which started after reformatting.
The problem is whenever I try to download any video from net, i see a blank screen saying waiting for video, but nothing comes.Only thing is i hear the sound of the video being played but no video.
Please help me with this.
