My System:

Hi all my laptop seems to be broken but i cannot work it out.

The laptop seems to start, i enter the password etc then its blank (but still backlit).
There is nothing there I press Ctrl-ALt-del then the screen pops up fine and i can view the task manager fine (although still against a black screen).

Although the screen is a bit flickery it does work, its just blank when it should be in windows.
I hooked it up to another monitor and its the same story.
I can get into the set-up utility.

I have tried starting in safe mode.
still no joy

Any ideas
